Hey, everyone, I'm Zafreen Khan, and today, I'm headed to teach you guys that how to write SEO optimized content that ranks on page one of Google, step by step.

Believe me or not I most frequently get asked, "How can I bring more traffic to my site?" Or, "How can I write a blog that ranks?"

Well today, I'm going to help answer that for you. Here's a step by step guide on SEO content writing tips for a blog post that ranks on page one.

1- Know your audience

To write a SEO friendly article, it is really important that you get to know your audience. That's why we include step one as know your audience.

And, This is important because if you're writing for the wrong person, it doesn't matter where you rank, you're not going to do well.

It is really important to understand your targeted readers. Not only this, but also what they like to read, and what supposed to make an impact on their lives before you begin writing.

For example, if your target readers are dog owners then what will they do? after reading your content about the best cat food on the market.

Instead, you can provide them value by publishing a post that depicts tips on the healthiest dog foods.

Not only this, but you also need to produce unique content that'll beat you competitors. Because, there's already a plenty of content out there on the internet.

So first off, go to any keywords research tool and type in keywords that you want to use in your content. Then, the tool helps you by providing you demographic information about it. Information such as, the age range of the people searching then location, devices etc.

Now, this depicts a good idea if this keyword is a good fit or not for your content.

2- Implement On-Page SEO in your content

One of the best practices for SEO content writing is that you implement On-Page SEO in your content.

When you implement on-page SEO correctly, it can dramatically increase your site's performance.

The crucial process of deciding structure of your content and optimizing it for different elements of that page is the key to on page SEO. Always remember that optimizing your blog for keywords is one thing. However, there's many other factors within your content that can impact SERP and help your content rank.

3- Provide value through your content

One of the amazing way to make massive success through your content is to write SEO  friendly content and provide value. Yes, you are not just aiming to provide content but to provide value to your followers at the same time.

So, the third step in this tutorial, is to write effective blog posts in a way that it provides interactive value to your followers. Readers are not interested to read any generic blog post. Because, they are just keen to read something that is going to add up in their life.

Something with which they can relate to and feel like, "Okay, I'm going to go and do this now."

That's the example of good piece of content.

4- Make most out of h1 tags

Look at some of these keywords, make sure you integrate them within your h1 tags. Your title, tags and your meta descriptions, as well as within your content. In order to write SEO friendly article it's important not to just push out content whenever you feel like.

You want to have a content calendar so you know what days you're going to publish consistently.

For example, the Neil Patel website, they always publish every single Tuesday.

Yeah, sometimes if Christmas falls on a Tuesday, they'll miss that week.

But in general, I'm blogging every Tuesday for at least 50 weeks out of the year.

4- Inculcate AIDA model

The fourth step I have for you is use the AIDA model. Now this is known to be the best practices for SEO content writing because this model has been around for years.

And, the reason being is because it works. However, it's an effective model for writing persuasive and engaging content. It looks a little something like this. If you're not familiar what it stands for its awareness, interest, desire and action.

Get attention through awareness

Awareness is grabbing the reader's attention in the first place. It's how you get traffic to your site, and even getting potential customers. This is where the title and meta description are very important. Your job is write something that's captivating in the title that draws people in and makes people click through.

Attract more readers with headlines

Remember, a headline is so critical that 73% of buying decisions are made from the point where readers come in contact with your title.

And as they say, eight out of ten people will read your headline but only two out of ten will click through and read the rest.

So make sure you focus on your headline. Now with interest you want to stimulate interest.

It's important because it keeps the readers on your page and possibly on to other pages of your website. So you want to expand on what you're promising in your headline.

Bullets to implant a desire

As for the desire, the best way to build a strong desire and your posts is to use bullet points.

Not too many bullet points, but just enough to build the desire. One of the advantage is that it helps your content to be SEO optimized content and meet your readers need.Studies show that people are

more likely to make a choice. When choices are limited. Keep this in mind with your readers as well.

A button for action

The call to action is all about asking your readers to participate in something. Whether it's a product a service, is to move on to the next step. It could be opting into your email list

and then from your email list, you drip people get to know more and then sell them again, without taking action, right?

And there's nothing wrong with having multiple call to actions on your site.

Alright, all my fellow writers i hope you all are doing great in your field. I poured my part of water to your bottle through sharing how to write SEO optimized content to rank #1. Now it's your time for action.
